[ He nods. Some of this he eavesdropped, some other stuff he didn't catch because he doesn't like sticking around too much. ]
... I didn't choose my speaker, but I did ask for the Temporals. Satariel answered my message. They told me we are more likely to receive information from Watches from our team.
[ So Celestials will tell Celestial Teammates more than if they asked Temporals. ]
They are also more susceptible to telling more in one-on-one conversations. [ ... ] There is something higher than them that reached out to them and whatever that is, it was supposed to also offer us a deal.
[ Yes, he noted a particular grumpy Watcher. Suriel, however, was quite helpful. Their attitude in wanting to help anyone, no matter who and what side.. he shakes his head, he doesn't want to think back of their own world. Not right now.
No use in feeling nostlagic. They'll get back, and when they do he'll be right on track for their conclusion. To finally reach ■■. ]
I assumed as much. There may be some things they aren't willing to share out loud. [ With Suriel, they will likely tell more without the company of the other Watchers too? Maybe. It's worth a try. ] A deal?
[ Omnious? Dokja sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. It sounds familiar is what. ] Possibly a way back home if I had to guess.
They do seem to have their own temperaments. In the end, you'll gain more knowledge from Celestials.
[ That won't stop Joonghyuk from talking to them, though. He will bark at everyone. This is nostalgic for Joonghyuk, too... But it's different for him. ]
... It sounded like they were promised a miracle if they accept. For some, to save their world. For others, to save their loved ones. Those were the two main ones mentioned.
[ More Knowledge from the Celestials it is then. ]
A deal for something you absolutely cannot refuse.
[ Jin's ears pin back, a low deep growl starting to sound from the fox as that thought settles in his mind. ]
..Well, we did not come out entirely empty-handed tonight.
[ He seems to be fiddling with the clothes for a moment, no sooner pulling out a little angel statue which he tries to get some of the late night's shine on but. It's a bit difficult. He might have to wait until they reach the hotel. ]
[ There could be things omitted, costs of equal weight to the result.
When they get to the lobby, Joonghyuk takes the statue and gives it a better look under what light there is. ]
There’s something off about the clothing… I can’t imagine this angel isn’t relevant, either. This city is basically touched by them and—[ Squints. ] It looks similar to the ones near the tower.
… Some believers would be desperate enough to call harpies or vampires angels.
[ So he agrees. A lot they don’t know, but this gets him thinking. He doesn’t return the statue yet because he fishes out a book to put it in Dokja’s hands. ]
I bookmarked a passage that stood out.
[ He made doggy-ear fold cause too lazy to find book mark.
Angel is the name of their office, not of their nature. If you seek the name of their nature, it is spirit; if you seek the name of their office, it is angel; from what they are, spirit, from what they do, angel.

The unreadable parts are smudged, impossible to parse. ]
[ Imagine if he was capable of demon transformation right now. Maybe they would mistake him for an angel.:umm: ]
Huh? [ That is indeed a book in his hands now. His eyes quickly dart from sentence to sentence with a look of concentration showing. Excuse him as he mumbles his thoughts out loud. If only the Fourth Wall was here. ]
So angel is more of a role, a title. When it regards their essence though, they're spirits. [ He takes a pause to think and read those same lines again. The Dust... Ah, he remembers catching a glimpse of one of the Watchers poofing into Dust briefly. Doesn't keep his attention for long, not when-] If I'm reading this sentence here right... spirits aren't the only ones that can become angels, but humans as well?
[ Some words are definitely a bit hard to figure out... At least the word seems to read angel despite part of being smudged to hell. Looking to the rest.. he gives a light shake of his head. ] Not sure what to make of the last part.
[ Dokja continues walking ahead further into the hotel with book in hands, it's as if he has his cell phone again and in his own little world. You did this. ]
I'm not quite sure if this excerpt is about the Celestials in particular... The book has some age to it, but it could foreshadow that whatever we're stuck in has a longer history than the Watchers arriving last week.
[ It could be that Watchers, as a role, have always been around? He isn't sure. Anyway, I think?? Temporals are made of something else that isn't dust, but I need to comb through the public NPC threads again. ]
I'm not sure if it implies a separation, or if they truly mean discovered.
Well, they seem to have taken the role onto themselves per their agreement. Still, angels mean something here. The building statues, and with this [ the one Joonghyuk still has his hands on. ], that much is obvious.
I doubt the Watchers know any more than we do if they've only been here a week earlier.
[ Stares a bit more at the book, he'd keep it if he could and read it and read it. Read it until there's nothing new to absorb. ]
Hmm, I see, I'll keep an eye out for anything when I scavenge again. Other than recently set-up pitfall traps, very old alarms.. haven't found much.
[ Maybe he'll have some luck himself. Any books he's found so far haven't had anything- if because the writing is literally unreadable. He holds his hand out for the angel statue while holding the book Joonghyuk found back. ]
Any information that would detail these two groups of angels, which we can consider as the Temporals and Celestials for now, and this... Dispute would be useful. History is bound to repeat itself.

[ Something to keep note of. They will reach hotel soon, but Joonghyuk squints. ]
... What is that?

An angel statue. I found it in the pockets of the clothes. [ His head tilts. ] Seems a little familiar... But it's a bit hard to see right now.
[ Hmm. ] Must have belonged to whoever was staying at the lighthouse.

It could be religious but there's still a lot we don't know yet. [ Still, the beliefs in Gods, angels isn't anything new- Hold on. ] Eh? Does it?

I collected a number of books, but so far they've only talked about the buildings here. Nothing that important.
