When the plate sets down, Dokja looks up away from the daemons. Though before he offers any gratitude he pauses, staring at the food. He doesn't seem overly offended or bothered by it. Curious? Taken aback? ] ..Why omurice?

It doesn't seem as if the daemon looks frightened, or worried, he just seems to be a bit guarded if anything.
If he could, he'd reach out to gingerly pet the daemon if to reassure it but. Taboo. So, he settles for tilting his head while he observes the two daemons from where he remains crouched. ] Niah.
[ Niah still mildly resists, not letting go yet. Joonghyuk frowns, then looks off to the side. Only then does the daemon gently put Jin down, relenting because he understands he can't just keep her in his mouth the whole time.
There's just silence. Not like anything needs to be explained. But, in truth, deep inside Joonghyuk doesn't want to let go. The last time they let their guard down... He shuts his eyes closed tightly, burying those emotions. ]
[ Once Jin is set back on her paws does she give herself a small shake after having been held until now, but remains unbothered. Dokja's attention is back on his companion so he's unaware when the fox starts to brush and push herself against the other daemon as if to comfort.
It's not as if he can comfort him directly. He knows what his nebula members would like to hear, what Yoo Joonghyuk would prefer out of him, but he cannot make a promise that involves himself to not do anything reckless. To not likely put himself at risk. kim dokja is a cruel companion.
At least, for right now he doesn't have a clear plan in mind so. ] If you need me, you'll be able to find me at the library.
[ He means in general than right now of course. There's still a bit to do before he decides to go back there. He pushes to a stand afterward, moving to the exit and it's only when he starts to get far enough that Jin finally leaves the company of the other and rushes to keep up. ]
