We weren't able to participate though. I tried to see if I could grab a glass as it slide and they always moved out of reach. And when I tried to approach and talk with the shadows, the music got louder. That's it, really.

I heard the sound of gasping at first. There was.. a dragging sound, and soon a distinct, choking gurgle before it ended with a loud thud. Silence after that.

As you saw at the meeting earlier, Mollymauk Tealeaf did indeed kill Emet-Selch. When I spoke with him directly he admitted to it easily. Claimed it was a shadow possession, which he stated he knows I only have his word on it but I believe him.

Harrowhark Nonagesimus meanwhile offered me two pieces of information, one with her having admitted to lying for him in trial. She had not realized it was Mollymauk until she caught sight of his locket. The second piece of information is if there is someone among the people I speak to who is looking for revenge or simply seeking a convenient target whose hostage is secure, she wanted me to be aware that she was the one who killed Aikawa, and she was not possessed by a shadow.
In her words, "Clearly this is a greater level of culpability and will be more palatable for a potential killer as well." I believe her to be sticking her neck out to avoid the risk of Mollymauk being targeted. [ which is understandable and honestly kdj would do the same? ]
Otherwise, she gave me a word of warning. That there are some who believe Sylvain's murderer must have come from among our number, and that it was an act of revenge. [ lmao ] She personally does not think any of us did it but advises that it might be wise to clear this up if there is a more generous explanation. If because revenge won't be as tolerable compared to being possessed.

I'm not surprised that they believe that one of us did it. So long as they don't go after one of you for it - if someone starts stirring things up, or you have any suspicions, simply send them my way and I'll tell them myself to clear the air. But considering the fit that Debeste threw today and the hypocrisy present during town hall from a number of parties, I'm not interested in outright telling the public, either.
